A one-man show, Alief Vacuum and Sewing Center has provided Stuart the satisfaction that he found lacking in the auditing jobs he held after graduating from the University of Texas with a BBA degree in 1972.

"My accounting background has been invaluable to me", Stuart says. "The business school also fostered entrepreneurial spirit and attention to finance and detail that have helped me run the business."
